Welcome to Capitol Hill Wardroom

Capitol Hill Wardroom is an informal community of active duty, reserve, and veteran Navy and Marine Corps members who have served or are currently serving on Capitol Hill. Our group brings together those who share the unique experience of blending military service with legislative work, fostering a strong sense of camaraderie, mentorship, and advocacy.

Our Mission

Our mission is to create a network of Navy and Marine Corps professionals who are dedicated to supporting one another as they serve or transition between military and legislative careers. We aim to ensure that the voices and interests of our Sea Services are well-represented and supported on Capitol Hill.

What We Do

  • Networking: We provide a platform for members to build connections, share knowledge, and collaborate on professional opportunities related to both military and legislative service.
  • Mentorship: Senior members of Capitol Hill Wardroom offer guidance and mentorship to junior members, especially those navigating the complexities of both military duties and Capitol Hill responsibilities.
  • Community Support: Our members offer assistance to each other during transitions from military service to civilian careers on the Hill, or vice versa, ensuring that no one navigates these challenges alone.

Who We Are

We are a diverse group of Navy and Marine Corps officers, enlisted members, reservists, and veterans who have taken our leadership skills from the military to the halls of Congress. The Capitol Hill Wardroom includes individuals with a wide range of legislative experience and military expertise, united by our commitment to serve our country in and out of uniform.
